The questions owners actually ask, answered straight.
01What does it cost?
The prices are on the plans page — $600 to $7,500 per month depending on tier, plus a one-time build fee ($1,500 to $8,500) set in writing before you sign. Every number is printed publicly on the page, not read to you on a call. We publish prices because you shouldn't have to surrender an hour and your cell number to learn a dollar amount. Ad spend, if you ever run ads, is separate — paid by you directly to Google or Meta, never marked up by us.
02Do you guarantee results?
No — and we'd ask you to be suspicious of anyone who says yes. A marketing company controls what it builds for you: the website, the profile, the content, the tracking. It does not control your market, your competition, the season, or how calls get answered on your end. A "guaranteed leads" pitch is either a promise someone else's competence will be underwritten by strangers, or fine print you haven't read yet.
Here's what we DO promise, because these we control with our own hands: your site live on the schedule we agree to · your name, your trade and your town saying the same thing everywhere Google looks · your Google profile verified and kept current (hands-on monthly management from Local Authority up) · an honest report every month, counted where we both can see it · and your domain, your Google profile, your ad and social accounts, and every lead and customer record yours from day one — with the site built for you, never taken down or held over you, and full ownership transferring on final payment — so if we ever stop earning the invoice, you leave whole, with everything. No outcome promises means no outcome promises broken. That's the deal, and we think it's the only honest one in this industry.
03Am I signing a long contract?
The build term is 3 months from Local Authority up, and Launchpad has no minimum term at all — and we'll say the quiet part plainly: that initial term is a real commitment, both directions. It takes about that long to build everything you're paying for and prove the counting works, and we staff your account accordingly. After the build term, it's month-to-month. No auto-renewing annual traps, and the exit is written in plain English before you sign, not discovered later.
04Who owns the website if I leave?
You do. Your domain, your Google profile, your ad and social accounts, your reviews, your photos, and every lead and customer record are yours from day one, in writing. The site is built for you, is never taken down or held over you, and full ownership transfers on final payment. When you leave, we hand over everything on a documented checklist. One bill, one vendor, no hostages. This isn't a perk; it's the closest thing we have to a guarantee, because it means we have to re-earn your business every single month.
05How do I know it's actually working?
This is the question the whole company is built around. From Local Authority up you get a dedicated tracking number and a shared lead log — every call and form logged the day it arrives, source attached, in a record we both read. Not a glossy PDF of numbers that only go up. Launchpad gets the monthly report in plain English; the tracking number and the shared log start one plan up. If we can't prove the work, we don't deserve the invoice.
06How long until I see results?
Honestly: we don't promise a timeline, because we don't control one (see question 2). What we can tell you is the shape of it — on Local Authority and up, the first 90 days are the build: site live around weeks 3–4, tracking verified end to end, content and reviews running from there, and your first full scorecard read together around month three. The measurement clock starts at launch, not at signing. Anything faster that happens is upside, not a promise.
07You're new. Why should I trust you over an agency with a long track record?
Fair question — we'd ask it too. We don't borrow tenure and we won't pretend. What we offer instead is inspectable: our own site's measured numbers with the method printed under them, a flagship build you can visit and poke, prices in public, a free check that tells you when your site is already fine and says so, and terms where your domain, your accounts and every customer record are yours from day one and the site is never taken down or held over you — so the cost of being wrong about us is a few months, not your website. Judge us on what you can check, because that's how we intend to be judged every month after.
08I already have a website. Do I have to start over?
Not necessarily. The audit answers this honestly: sometimes the site is sound and needs a tune-up and real tracking; sometimes it's a template with problems baked in and rebuilding is cheaper than renovating. We'll tell you which, and if the answer is "keep what you have," you'll get that in writing.
09Do you work with my trade? My town?
Local businesses — home services broadly (pools, HVAC, roofing, septic, landscaping, concrete, fencing), and just as gladly med-spas, law offices, and any local shop that lives on its reputation. Home base Cedar Creek Lake. One honest limit: we take a handful of clients per trade, so every account gets the attention it needs to work. When a trade's slots are full for the season, they're full. That's real capacity, not a countdown timer.
10What do you need from me?
Three things, and they matter: access (your domain, your Google profile — which stay in your name), timely say-so on approvals, and photos of your real jobs. That last one is bigger than it sounds — we put photographs of your actual jobs where a stranger sees them first, because that is the part of the page no competitor can copy, and we review every one ourselves before it goes public. We never use stock photos of somebody else's work and call it yours.
11Do you do ads?
As an add-on at any tier, through a media partner — but we won't lead with ads, and we'd rather you didn't either until the foundation is built. The ad dollars go from you straight to Google or Meta; we never touch or mark up the spend, and you own the ad account. Ads pour water into whatever bucket you have. We fix the holes in the bucket first.
12What happens on the free check? Is it a sales pitch?
Twenty minutes. We walk your actual website, Google profile, and reviews together — same instruments we use on client work — and show you where leads are leaking, what's already good, and which tier fits where you're headed, including "none yet" if that's the truth. You keep the findings whether or not we ever work together. It's a pitch only in this sense: we think the measurement itself is the best sales tool we own, so we give it away first.

What should a website cost? Ask what the price makes someone responsible for — A build charge and a monthly charge cover different work. A quote is not complete until both responsibilities are clear.
The real ledger of a $500 website — A single gold key on dark velvet — the real question with a cheap website is who holds it.
Why our prices are public (and most agencies' aren't) — Most agencies keep the number behind glass. Ours is printed on the tag.
