Review requests
$345/mo
Every finished job gets a review ask, sent for you. Needs a way for us to know a job wrapped — your lead log, your job feed, or you telling us.
What we'll need from you
- Google Business Profile access
- How we learn a job is finished — lead log, your job feed, or you tell us
- The review links you want customers sent to
- Start channel — email now, text once carrier registration clears
- Legal business name for that registration
Texting does not switch on until the phone carriers finish approving your number to send business texts — a few weeks, out of our hands. Email works from day one.
What it looks like
- The job is marked doneThat is the only thing you have to do.
- The ask goes outYour wording, their name, at the moment it still means something.
- It lands where people lookOn your public profile, not in a folder on a desk.
What your customer gets
One ask, and it goes straight to your review page
Nobody is asked how the job went first. Every customer gets the same message and the same link, whatever they are going to say in it.
The whole sequence
- The job is marked doneNothing goes out while the work is still open.
- One day later, one emailIt thanks them and links to your review page. That is the entire message.
- Five days later, one reminderOne. If they would rather not write anything, that is the end of it.
- The printed card carries the same linkFor the customers who would sooner use the camera on their phone.
- Every review gets an answerThe good ones and the bad ones, in public, in your name.
Four things this will never do, and we will say no if you ask for them: it will not ask how the job went before deciding whether to request a review; it will not send unhappy customers somewhere private instead; it will not offer anyone anything in exchange for a review; and it will not ask only the customers likely to say something kind. Those are the review platforms' rules as well as ours.
